Vector Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Pump Engineer on behalf of our client, one of the UK's fastest-growing providers of pump services. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled pump engineer with a strong background servicing and maintaining foul and surface water pumps, submersible pumping stations, and treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:
 
Routine Maintenance: Conduct planned maintenance on sewage and surface water pump stations, treatment plants, and booster sets.
Emergency Response: Attend in-hours and out-of-hours emergency callouts, resolving issues on-site to ensure minimal disruption.
Repairs: Complete repairs and remedial tasks with attention to quality and safety.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
 
Industry Experience: Proven experience working as a pump engineer on surface and foul water pumps.
Strong Work Ethic: Willingness to work in demanding conditions and “get stuck in” when needed.
Problem Solver: Practical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
Driving Licence: Full UK Driving licence
Working Hours:
 
Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 5 pm
On Call Rota: Participation in the 24/7 call-out rota is required.
Pay and benefits:
 
Rate: Up to £41,600 pa depending on experience
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
Door to Door pay
