As the company scales, it is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join the team and drive the design and user experience of its products.
Position Overview: The Senior UX/UI Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences and visually appealing user interfaces for the company's payment solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of UX/UI design principles, strong collaboration skills, and a user-centric approach. The Senior UX/UI Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the products meet user needs and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

UX/UI Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and communicate a clear UX/UI vision and strategy aligned with the company’s goals and user needs.
- Identify and prioritize user experience opportunities to enhance the overall product experience.

User Research and Analysis:
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design concepts.
- Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions and improve the user experience.

Design and Prototyping:
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas and interactions.
- Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, easy to use, and consistent with the company’s brand guidelines.

User Interface Design:
- Ensure a cohesive and consistent design language across all products and platforms.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.

Leadership and Mentorship:
- Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the payments or fintech industry.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering successful digital products.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
