PTS Electrician (Rail)

Location: Southend-on-Sea
Position Type: 6 weeks initially
Industry: Rail

Rate: £32 - £36 per hour - Limited

Scope: OUTSIDE IR35

We are seeking a team of qualified and experienced PTS Electrician's to join our client's team in the rail industry. If you're based around Southend-on-Sea and have the required qualifications and experience, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within the rail industry.

* Ensure work complies with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

* Conduct inspections and testing on electrical systems and equipment.

* Assist with the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across rail projects.

* Provide support on-site and contribute to the successful completion of tasks.

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

* PTS Certification: Must hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.

* City & Guilds Level 3: Minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

* 2391 Inspection & Testing: Must hold 2391 Inspection and Testing certification.

* 18th Edition: Up-to-date 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.

* Previous experience in the rail industry, particularly with electrical systems and installations.

* Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.

* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

* Holding a COSS ticket would be ideal but not essential.
