Maintenance Fitters - South Ayrshire

Salary: Up to £44k
Shifts: 4/4, 12-hour shifts (6-6, days/nights)
As part of the maintenance team, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with a skilled team to keep everything in top condition. Your role will be key in minimising downtime and ensuring the plant is operates at peak efficiency!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Responding to plant downtime
* Repairing and replacing equipment as needed
* Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
* Assisting with summer and winter overhauls (because we don't let anything go unhandled!)
* Engaging in continuous improvement activities and discussions
* Completing work permits and sticking to all health and safety protocols
* Building relationships with various teams across the business
What We Need from You:
* Fully qualified
* Proven experience in a heavy mechanical engineering environment
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
* A collaborative spirit who enjoys working with a variety of teams
* Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
* Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently
