Documentation Controller(Aviation)- Contract - Manchester Duration: 6 month initial contract with the possibility of extending to 12 months.Shift: Monday-FridayHours:9.00am-17:30pmShorterm Group is currently working with a leading UK Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) provider, who is experiencing rapid growth and who are looking for an experienced Document controller to join them on their exciting journey. As they continue to expand, they're looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to play a pivotal role at their Birmingham Hangar. If you are eager to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your contributions can make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.We are currently seeking a Document Controller to join our Planning Team on a full time, contract basis. This is a highly varied and fast-paced role that requires a meticulous and organised individual.Key Responsibilities:Collect, quality check, and close completed job cards within Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance.Manage the closing of completed job cards within Base Maintenance work packages, both in paper form and electronically.Scan job cards from both Base and Line Maintenance, ensuring they are properly filed within company systems and returned to the customer as needed.Monitor the status of job cards within work packages for reporting and quality control purposes.Perform general clerical duties, including setting up files, entering data into computerised systems, and maintaining accurate records.Skills, Behaviours, and Competencies:Demonstrated experience in document control is essential.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Highly organised, with a disciplined approach to work.Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.Strong customer relationship skills, with a focus on delivering excellent service.A team player who supports others in achieving both individual and company goals.Commitment to upholding company values and promoting a positive working environment.A good understanding of Aircraft Base and Line Maintenance is preferred, though not essential.This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation where your work will have a real impact.
