Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced and dedicated Contracts Manager to join our growing team. As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while leading teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee multiple Groundworks and Civil Engineering projects in the region.

* Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement effective solutions.

* Lead and mentor site teams to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

* Uphold health and safety regulations on all sites.

* Manage and coordinate resources, including staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and plant providers, ensuring efficient work methods.

* Oversee the daily use of appropriate company Information Systems and databases on-site.

* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, with all staff and operatives aware of their responsibilities.

* Complete documentation such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Tool Box talks.

* Assist with the recruitment of skilled supervisors and operatives.

* Liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role, specifically within civils & groundworks.

* Strong leadership and people management skills.

* In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations.

* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

* A relevant qualification (degree or equivalent experience) in engineering or construction management.

* Full UK driving license.

This is a full-time position based at our depot in South Wales/South West with travel to construction sites across the region.
