Salary: £45700 - £55240/annum

Reporting into the Sustainability Manager, the Laboratory Sustainability Officer will work to advance laboratory sustainability across Imperial College London. The role will be instrumental in shaping our Sustainable Labs programme, including the implementation of initiatives such as The Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF) and myGreenLabs. You will collaborate with key teams across the College to design and implement a blueprint for sustainable laboratory practices, driving energy reduction and championing innovative sustainability projects.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong scientific or engineering background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for sustainability. The ideal candidate will hold a degree (or equivalent experience) within Engineering, Building Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field. You will possess demonstrable experience within laboratory or technical roles relevant to sustainability, along with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. The ability to scope, plan, and implement complex projects while meeting deadlines effectively is essential.
