Business Development Manager

Location: Field-based

Recruitment Fox is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, taking ownership of driving new business growth within a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a targeted strategy to identify and secure new business in line with annual sales targets.

* Maintain a strong understanding of the company's products and services to effectively present tailored solutions to prospective clients.

* Qualify leads, develop opportunities, and close business through consultative engagement.

* Provide accurate weekly/monthly revenue forecasts and produce end-of-month reports on market performance.

* Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer journey throughout the sales process.

* Keep CRM systems fully updated and ensure adherence to sales procedures.

* Build strong relationships with the marketing team to align strategies and support sector-specific growth.

* Partner with the tele-appointment team to enhance demand generation and secure meetings.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in a customer-facing sales role with a strong track record of meeting new business targets.

* Demonstrable success in managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

* Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch and negotiate.

* Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills, both internally and externally.

Desirable:

* Experience within sectors such as Energy, Environment, Health & Safety, or GRC.

* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
