DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a SaaS company that supports businesses in measuring, reporting, and reducing carbon emissions at scale, helping to achieve a zero-emission future (as an example currently managing 100m kg of CO2e!)

The company has been expanding rapidly in recent months and is now seeking its first DevOps Engineer to lead the operational efforts. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Engineering to define and implement DevOps strategies and best practices. This includes expanding the cloud infrastructure (AWS), driving containerization efforts, and building monitoring and alerting systems.

We are seeking individuals who take ownership of their work and can work independently. Given the startup environment, we need people who are flexible, self-motivated, and willing to upskill as they tackle new technical challenges.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with:

• Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Production experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (IaC, CI/CD, etc.)
• Scripting knowledge (ideally Python)

Salary: Up to £85,000 base + benefits

Location: London (primarily remote, with one day per week in the London office)
