Our client is a chartered surveying practice specialising in sustainable construction and retrofit. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Head of Accounts to join their friendly and welcoming accounts team.

Role overview
The ideal candidate will lead and manage all financial processes, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, payment management, and the timely execution of financial tasks. You will oversee daily and monthly financial operations, collaborating with various departments to guarantee smooth and efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct weekly reviews of bank statements to oversee cash flow and financial activity. Assist in developing, improving, and implementing financial processes and budgets.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Google applications
• Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth financial operations
• Oversee the creation and processing of invoices
Skills and Experience
• At least 1 years of experience in an accounting role (Required)
• AAT Level 2 or 3 (Desirable)
• Degree/Master's in a related field (Desirable)
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial management
