Trainee or Semi-Senior Accountant Wimbledon, Southwest London £27,000 to £32,000 + study support Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established and prominent firm of chartered accountants based in the heart of Wimbledon that are keen to recruit an ambitious AAT trainee or semi-senior accountant to compliment the existing team. Role Requirements -
- Support a diverse client portfolio (LTD Co.s, sole traders and partnerships) spanning various industries and of differing turnovers.
- Preparation of Year End financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 using IRIS accounting software
- Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and submission to the HMRC.
- Preparing personal tax SA100 returns for self-employed and high net worth individuals etc.
- Producing quarterly VAT returns and submitting these to the HMRC.
- Supporting with audit assignments to include sampling and testing both virtually and onsite
- Utilising cloud-based software such as XERO, Quickbooks and Sage50 for accounting tasks as required by clients.
Person Requirements -
- Ideally AAT qualified and/or ACCA early stage studying with circa. 2 years' experience in practice as either a trainee accountant or semi-senior
- Practical exposure to accounts preparation and corporation and personal tax production.
- Proficient in the use of various accounting software to include IRIS, XERO, Quickbooks and Sage50
- Excellent communication skills and confident speaking to internal staff and clients alike.
