Marine Technician (Front-End)

Up to £75,000 (based on experience) + attractive bonus and benefits

Your new company is a dynamic, successful and well-established Lloyd's Broker, who have seen significant growth over the past 12 months and are prided as a key player within the London Market Insurance. With offices globally, you will be based in their head office, which is situated in the heart of the City of London and within a proximity to the Lloyd's of London building. This innovative Broker has a proven track record of providing various insurance and reinsurance solutions to clients and partners across the globe.

There is now an exciting position within their Marine Division, as a Marine Technician, in a position that involves working with Brokers to assist with the placement of complex Worldwide Hull & Machinery, MII, MAP and Loss of Hire Risks, creating and/or processing with client and market documentation, Underwriter enquirers, and liaising with clients and markets.

Role Duties

• Working collaboratively with Brokers to assist with the placement of complex Marine Risks
• Preparation of Slips, Endorsements and Cover notes
• Assisting with Underwriter enquirers
• Liaising with Clients and Markets
• Responsible for the maintenance of placing files
• Adhere to financial reporting requirements including monthly phasing of income

Role Requirements

• 3 years + of experience in a Marine Technical position for a Lloyd's Broker
• Experienced in Marine Hull & Machinery / MII / MAP / P&I OR Loss of Hire
• Experienced in creating and/or processing Slips, Endorsements, Cover notes
• Solid communication an relationship skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail skills
