Arthur is collaborating with a Global (Re)insurer who is hiring an Outsourcing Manager to join their team in London.The Outsourcing team is essential in managing the relationships and performance of outsourced vendors while also contributing to transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery within operations. This exciting role offers the opportunity to be instrumental in reinforcing the operational resilience of the services provided by the Operations function.Daily responsibilities:
• Managing relationships with outsourcing providers to ensure they meet service standards.
• Understanding the business service needs and ensuring contract compliance. This includes negotiating work statements and finding cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
• Setting performance standards and regularly reviewing vendor outcomes against key metrics and SLAs.
• Identifying and mitigating outsourcing risks, including data security and regulatory compliance.
• Continuously improving operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Acting as a liaison between offshore and onshore teams.
• Managing the budget for outsourcing activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.The ideal candidate should have proven experience in underwriting operations, ideally in a managerial capacity, and experience managing offshore teams is highly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in underwriting technology. The candidate should also possess analytical problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
