About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time English Teacher to support a Cheltenham secondary school from November 2024. This is an ongoing position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on our students' educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons across various year groups.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Organise and participate in parents' evenings and other school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students' academic and personal development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
