They are a well-established successful contractor specialising in refurbishment, fit-out, and new build projects. With a strong portfolio spanning a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial, they pride themselves on delivering projects that exceed client expectations. They're now looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in our continued success.

Projects are in East and West Central Scotland.

The Role:
As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be a key player in managing the financial and commercial aspects of a diverse range of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing detailed cost estimates and budget forecasts.

* Conducting site visits and working closely with project managers and teams to ensure project costs are controlled.

* Handling procurement processes, including tendering, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration.

* Managing project cash flow and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

* Providing advice and support on cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

* Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and industry regulations.

* Identifying and mitigating financial risks, ensuring project profitability.

About You:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:

* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).

* Proven experience in a similar role within the refurbishment, fit-out, or building sector.

* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and budgeting.

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

* A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality results on time and within budget.
