Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our team. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a variety of milling machines using Heidenhain or Fanuc control systems. The ability to work with milling machines such as Bridgeport, DMG Mori, and VMC 3/5 axis is essential for this role. Experience with Autodesk CAD/CAM software and a background in the Motorsport or Oil and Gas industries is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

* Program, set up, and operate a variety of milling machines using Heidenhain or Fanuc control systems

* Work with milling machines including Bridgeport, DMG Mori, and VMC 3/5 axis

* Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure precise and accurate production of components

* Identify and troubleshoot any production issues to maintain quality standards

* Work with small batches and maintain a high level of attention to detail

* Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

* Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating milling machines

* Proficiency with Heidenhain or Fanuc control systems

* Familiarity with Autodesk CAD/CAM software is beneficial

* Experience in the Motorsport or Oil and Gas industries preferred

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues

* Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Package

* Hourly rate ranging from 17-21ph

* Plenty of overtime on Friday afternoons and Saturdays at x1.5 rate

* 34 days holiday with a Christmas shut down

* Incentives such as company dinners, bonus scheme and more

* Day shift working 7.30 to 4.30 Monday to Thursday and a 12.30 finish on a Friday
