Role Overview:

In this role, you will assist a solicitor with a range of conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, re-mortgages and lease extensions. You will manage client inquiries, open case files, handle post-completion work, perform land registry searches and draft legal documents. The firm places a particular focus on its conveyancing department, making this an excellent opportunity to hone your skills and progress in your conveyancing career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting a solicitor with their conveyancing caseload
• Managing initial client communications and inquiries
• Opening and maintaining case files, from initial instruction to post-completion
• Conducting land registry searches and managing post-completion tasks
• Drafting and preparing essential legal documents

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working in a conveyancing department within a UK private practice law firm
• Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
• Prior experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary is preferred
• Attention to detail and strong telephone communication skills
