Mechanical Contracts / Operations Manager - Building Services

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager / Mechanical Operations Manager to join a very successful and highly-respected Mechanical and Electrical Building Services contractor.

With their Head Offices based in South East London, the company are leading M&E Building Services contractor who provide a full range of Mechanical and Electrical services, from design through to installation and commissioning.

The company work across multiple sectors including commercial, office fit out, education, healthcare, retail and leisure, with typical project values ranging from £500k up to £10m, and as a result of continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Contracts / Operations Manager to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage projects assigned to you, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

* Manage the procurement of projects

* Technical submissions/approvals of plant/equipment

* Production of risk and method statements

* Financial management of the project and working to budgets set

* Responsible for managing a team of Mechanical Project Managers and the site teams

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met

* Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project life-cycle

* Reporting into the company Directors

Mechanical Contracts / Operations Manager - Required Experience and Key Skills:

* Minimum 5 years experience as a Mechanical Building Services Contracts Manager or similar role, i.e. Mechanical Operations Manager or MEP Contracts Manager

* Experience in delivering mechanical building services projects ranging from £500k up to £10m

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

Salary and Benefits Package for the position of Mechanical Contracts / Operations Manager include:

* Base salary: £85,000 - £95,000 depending on experience
