One of England's largest academy trusts is seeking a dynamic Head of Health and Safety. This is a unique opportunity to work at a strategic level within a mission-driven organisation dedicated to delivering life-changing education.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Health and Safety:

Develop and implement group-wide Health & Safety policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
Drive the Health & Safety Strategy, targeting priority risks and promoting continuous improvement.
Provide expert advice on occupational health & safety matters, supporting over 100 schools and 10,000 staff.
Oversee audits, risk assessments, and training programs to ensure safe environments across schools and offices.
Collaborate with senior leaders and external advisors to enhance safety practices and manage risks.
Act as the key liaison for regulatory bodies and lead investigations into significant incidents or issues.Ideal Candidate Will Have:

NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
Deep knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, premises compliance, and risk management.
Proven leadership experience, ideally within large educational or complex organisations.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
