The Role:

Are you a skilled PLC software engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges? Do you want to work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment, developing bespoke in-house automation systems? What will you be doing?

* Developing expertise in Siemens & Schneider PLCs - Becoming a key technical authority.

* Providing programming expertise & technical leadership - Driving improvements and new developments.

* Supporting continuous improvement & innovation - Collaborating with lead engineers on cutting-edge projects.

* Delivering high-impact change - Contributing to multiple projects that enhance technology and efficiency.

* End-to-end project involvement - From initial concept to final delivery.

* Taking ownership - Managing projects to meet deadlines and working with internal teams and contractors.

What will you bring to the party?

* A problem solver - Strong PLC programming & fault diagnosis skills (Siemens & Schneider preferred, others considered).

* A qualified engineer - Minimum HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

* A fast learner - Someone excited about new techniques & emerging technology.

* A team player - Flexible, enthusiastic, and thrives under pressure.

* Industry experience in food or processing is a plus, but not essential.

* Bonus skills - Knowledge of functional safety & SCADA is advantageous
