Meraki Talent are currently working with a leading bank to help them identify a manager - trading compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team responsible for covering a wide range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income and derivatives.  You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring adherence to regulatory expectations for electronic trading activities. You will also be responsible for providing advice and guidance on regulatory requirements and industry best practices in respect of algorithmic trading.  You will help develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations.Some of your duties will include:

• Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organisation.
• Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps.
• Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
• Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives.
• Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.
• Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
• Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.

We are looking for: 

• Banking experience
• Ideally experience of working in an e-trading environment
• Knowledge of one of the following asset classes, equities, fixed income and derivatives.
• Data governance / compliance experience
• The ability to manage and prioritise your workloads
• Excellent stakeholder skills
