Are you an experienced Credit Controller / Customer Service Advisor ready to join a successful organisation that truly believes in looking after their staff?As a Credit Controller in this growing manufacturing business, you will contact customers to resolve payment issues and chase debt, as well as perform related accounting tasks. Based in Petersfield, you will benefit from study support, life insurance, employee discounts on bathrooms, career development opportunities and more.Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Oversight of around 300 customers and accounts across various sectors
• Liaising with customers to resolve queries
• Debt chasing via phone, letter and email
• Working within a team of 3 credit controllers
• Monitoring the accounts email inbox and dealing with any queries
• Raising credit notes, allocating cash to correct accounts
• Negotiating and agreeing payment plans for collection of arrears
• Putting accounts on hold if payments aren’t met
• Credit checking of customers

What you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Credit Controller / Credit Control Clerk / Accounts Receivable Clerk / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Customer Service Skills
• Confidence in communicating with customers and maintaining excellent customer service
• Working knowledge of credit control
