Xpert Resourcing are delighted to be working with a growing manufacturing and engineering business based close to Scunthorpe who are looking to recruit this very business critical role where you will be the technical lead on the company products, repair works carried out, warranty cover and liaising with customers. You will also be responsible for technical queries and aftersales support.

A company vehicle is provided for work travel.

Duties will include:

* Overseeing the repairs and warranty department of the business.

* Attending customer sites to support with warranty issues or repairs.

* Allocating manpower for specific jobs and deadlines.

* Costing of jobs for repair work.

* Providing customer quotations for work to be carried out.

* Provide detailed records of materials used, labour used and description of work carried out.

* Responsibility for Health & Safety of the team.

* Carry out quality control inspections in order to prevent future warranty disputes or claims.

* Managing a small team of technicians.

Experience / skills required:

* A good understanding of mechanical / hydraulic systems.

* Experience of managing staff.

* MIG and TIG welding skills.

* Outstanding customer service skills.

* Excellent communication skills.

Hours of work:

* Monday to Friday

* 40 Hours per week
