Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Assembly Operatives in Bury St Edmunds to start work immediately.

Profile: Electronic Assembly Technician

PAYE Rate: £13.00ph - £13.50ph

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Monday - Thursday 06:00am - 03:30pm, Optional overtime on Friday paid at x 1.5

This is a temp to perm position working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance engine components. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.

Perform assembly, configuration and testing of electronic products. To manufacture and assemble products according to Standard Operating Procedures, together with process documents, ensuring the same are adhered to.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

Perform Inspection, Assembly, configuration, functional testing and complete relevant documentation on Electronic components.
When required, assemble and test complete units or sub assemblies.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Responsible for picking materials and ensuring materials picked accurately meet the necessary requirements.
Understanding of analog and digital circuitry.
Ability to operate electronics-related test equipment.
A high level of experience working with Microsoft applications or equivalent.
