The Company

Our client who are working on the modular build of a large residential development in the Digbeth area, are currently looking for a Electrical Project Engineer to join them on site. The works will consist of five residential blocks with a total of 550 units and a maximum height of 26 floors. The Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scope for this project is valued at £10 million.

The Role and its Responsibilities

Mech Electrics are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the project team where you will be responsible for managing the electrical aspects of the build, including:
Shell & Core installation
Power & Light distribution
Drains collection systems
Commissioning of electrical systems
Integration of the wet and dry halves of the apartments
The role requires close collaboration with the Mechanical Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of all electrical elements within the overall project timeline.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Engineer who has worked on residential projects. Experience with modular builds will be considered a significant advantage and candidates should be adept at working under tight sequencing schedules and be fully engaged in the delivery journey of the project.

Skills and Qualifications

Electrical Engineer experience
Familiarity with modular build techniques is beneficial
Strong understanding of electrical installations, power & light distribution, and drainage collection systems
Ability to manage and commission electrical systems
Excellent project management skills, particularly in coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams

Salary and Package

Competitive salary up to £60,000, depending on experience
Additional package and benefits offered
