Location: Isle Of Wight (Newport area)
Working period: Full-time
Working Hours: 08:30 - 16:00 weekdays, 09:00 - 16:00 weekends
Assignment Period: 1 month (4 weeks) potential to extend
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the healthcare team in the Newport area. This role offers the chance to make a real impact by providing high-quality mental health care within a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care to patients within the prison setting.
* Assess, plan, and implement individualised care plans.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the wellbeing of patients.
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with prison healthcare protocols.
* Adhere to prison security regulations while maintaining professional standards of care.
What We Are Looking For:
* Essential Prison Clearance (candidates must have current clearance to work in a prison setting).
* Prison Experience is required.
* NMC Registered RMN.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a challenging environment.
