They are currently seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in planning, designing, and delivering building services systems, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of building services (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing) for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
* Technical Leadership: Provide expert advice and leadership on building services solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, client specifications, and sustainability goals.
* Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of building services into the overall project design and delivery.
* Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of building services installations, ensuring adherence to approved designs, safety standards, and project timelines.
* Budget & Resource Management: Assist in cost estimation, procurement of materials, and subcontractor management, ensuring projects remain on budget and deadlines are met.
* Sustainability Focus: Promote energy-efficient and sustainable building practices, advising on the integration of renewable energy technologies where appropriate.
* Problem Solving: Address and resolve any technical or design-related challenges that arise during the construction process.
* Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
