Jark Cambridge are working alongside one of East Anglia's largest and most decorated M&E firms. We're seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join their team. As an Electrical Site Manager you will be required to set objectives and manage the site team, including subcontractors and directly employed labour on Mechanical and Electrical projects.

You will control labour production, resources and quality issues to meet our exacting standards, manage health and safety, attend site/ client meetings and represent Munro Building Services as a business.

We're looking for someone with detailed knowledge of all Electrical systems, relevant standards and regulations, and installation methods. You will also have a good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures, along with best site working practices, confident, credible and technically fluent and you will also be a strong people manager with the ability to deliver results through others. You should have a familiarity with MS Office, MS Sharepoint, particularly MS Excel and Project.

Job Roles and responsibilities:

• Assign tasks to Foremen / Chargehands with supervisory responsibilities and other operatives under their direct control.
• Redeploy Foremen / Chargehands with supervisory responsibilities or other operatives under their direct control, in order to achieve the optimum productivity including on-site batch production and fabrication.
• Decide on methods to be used for individual operations and instruct other operatives accordingly.
• Manage & ensure variation work does not proceed without authority from the office, or appropriate instruction.
• Maintain site contract control and implement company procedures, include H&S operating procedures.
• Requisition and progress supply of necessary equipment and materials to sites operatives when required.
• Ensure that other operatives take all reasonable steps to safeguard, maintain and generally take care of employer's tools and materials.
• Maintain day to day liaison, coordination and programme of work with client / main contractor and other sub-contractors.
• Inspect, control and review progress of work of sub-contractors.
• Monitor progress to client/main contractor, in order that agreed programme is met.
• Inspect the work of other operatives for quality, progress and satisfactory completion.
• Check weekly progress against programme and identify and manage deviations there from.
• Monitoring and close control of all employees timekeeping and behaviour.
• Verify bookings on timesheets and despatch them promptly to the office.
• Notify office of impending delays to work.
• Provide information for cost variation investigations when necessary.
• Forecast labour requirements in a timely manner.
