Role Overview

We are seeking an Asset Manager with experience in social housing to play a crucial role in delivering our client's Asset Management Strategy. This position focuses on managing stock rationalisation, and overseeing a rolling stock condition survey program. The successful candidate will lead a data-driven approach, managing a small team and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to optimise the property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the stock condition survey program.
  • Ensure accurate data management and reporting to support business planning.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Data Analyst and Administrator.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Participate in procurement, project management, and the Group's Innovation Panel for new developments.
  • Contribute to neighbourhood plans and broader asset investment strategies.
Person Specification
  • Qualifications: Professional qualification in housing, construction, or asset management (Desirable).
  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in asset management or a related senior role.
    • Experience with investment planning, and project management.
    • Strong understanding of compliance, health and safety, and risk management.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of social housing regulations and disrepair protocols.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent data management and reporting skills.
    • Ability to analyse complex data and present clear recommendations.
    • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
