Our client, a reputable consultancy in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Highway Senior Technician for a contract position in the Manchester area. This role offers a unique opportunity for those with a strong background in highways to contribute to significant projects outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing technical support and expertise in highway design and maintenance projects
Utilising AutoCAD to develop and modify detailed design drawings
Coordinating with engineers and other team members to ensure project delivery
Conducting site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
Preparing technical reports and documentation
Ensuring compliance with relevant highway standards and regulations
Assisting in the management and supervision of junior technicians

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in highway projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD for highway design purposes
Strong understanding of highway standards and regulations
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
