The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team. You will work with children with a range of needs, tailoring lessons to support their individual learning journeys and helping them achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing:

Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons for students with SEN
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of each child
Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students
Using creative strategies to make learning enjoyable and accessible
Assessing students' progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly
Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and ensuring they are effectively followed
Providing one-on-one and small group support where necessary
Encouraging independence and confidence in all students
What We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher with experience or a strong interest in SEN education
A patient, understanding, and nurturing approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to inclusive education and a passion for helping children succeed
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
Experience working with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain flexible in a dynamic learning environment
A willingness to engage in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with best practices in SEN education
