We are now looking for two Simulation Technicians to join the Faculty of Health. Your post will sit within the School of Nursing and Allied Health, located on Tithebarn Street. You must be able to start at 8:30am or earlier if and when required. Occasional weekends for Open Days and other activities will also be required.

Reporting to the Faculty Resource Manager, you will supervise and mentor team members, overseeing workflow tasks and monitoring performance, schedules and resolving daily issues. You will provide first line support for computer-based clinical simulators, and associated equipment which includes the preparation of materials, models, equipment and medical consumables that create and aid teaching content.

You will operate manikins, medical devices, trainers and IT equipment and be able to maintain, service and repair hardware and software. An element of this role includes the support of Immersive Environment technology, VR, and specialist clinical equipment. An HNC/HND or equivalent is essential, and previous technical experience in an Education or NHS environment with strong IT skills is necessary.
