Science Teacher - Eastbourne

Pay: £150 - £250 per day
Hours: 8am - 3.30PM, full-time
About the School: Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Eastbourne that wishes to appoint a committed and ambitious Science Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science as part of their excellent team. This role is full-time and temporary, with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. The school is rated “good” by Ofsted.

About the Role: The role involves full-time teaching of Science at Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be responsible for teaching all elements of Science, with time allowed for planning and marking. The school is looking for someone with good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have a Biology specialism (preferred)
Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
Be a committed team player
Have a proven track record of raising attainment
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver science in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
