Deputy Sports Centre ManagerHealth & Fitness Club, North West London£31,000 to £33,000  An exciting opportunity to assist in the management of a high end health and fitness club as Deputy Manager in West London! My client is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working within the leisure industry as this is a busy and influential role within the business.  The main responsibilities of the Deputy Manager are:

• Being responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Sports Centre under the direction of the Sports Centre Manager
• Managing a diverse team and overseeing the health and safety and smooth running of the facilities
• Managing financial budgets to maximise the assets of the business
• Planning business improvements with your manager
• Overseeing sports events and supporting customers of the Sports Centre

  The candidate:

• A positive and proactive attitude is a must
• Ability to interact and be ‘hands on’
• A background in fitness management at Duty Manager level or above
• Ideally an RLSS National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification

 This is a fantastic job in fitness which requires the successful individual to take ownership of the centre as if it was their own business, as you will be deputising in the absence of the Sports Centre Manager. You must be an outgoing character who thrives in and enjoys meeting the demands of a fast paced environment.
