Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic General Catering Assistant to work in our lovely primary schools.

This role is term time only, working Monday to Friday, so it's ideal for a great work-life balance! At HCL, staff are our greatest asset. We are proactive in providing training and support to develop your culinary skills, all part of working within a highly motivated team.

It is essential for you to have a valid driving license and your own car.

Relevant mileage expenses paid for

Your role as a Mobile General Catering Assistant will involve:

- Basic food preparation and cooking
- Cleaning duties within the kitchen/dining area
- Health & safety compliance
- Food service to students & staff
- Friendly and polite customer service
- Basic IT skills

- Travelling between schools

What we ask from you:

- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential
- Team player
- Food hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Exceptional timekeeping and reliability
- Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English

- valid driving license and your own car.
