💰 Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour
🕒 Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Thursday: 07:45am - 16:45pm, Friday: 07:45am - 14:15pm)

Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a skilled machinist with strong experience in programming, operating, and setting CNC lathes with Fanuc controls. If you have a keen eye for precision and enjoy working to high standards, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Turner:
✅ Programming & Setting - Program, operate, and set CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
✅ Engineering Drawings - Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy.
✅ Tight Tolerances - Work precisely to specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
✅ Tool Setting - Set up tools, adjusting cutting speeds and feeds for optimal performance.
✅ G-Code Programming - Create and edit programs for roughing, finishing, boring, drilling, and threading cycles.
✅ Quality Inspection - Use verniers, bore gauges, micrometres, and other inspection tools to ensure precision.
✅ Deburring - Remove sharp edges from machined components during production with minimal disruption.
✅ ISO 9001 Compliance - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with quality standards.
The Ideal CNC Turner:
✔ Minimum 5 years' experience in CNC programming, with expertise in Fanuc controls.
✔ Strong knowledge of G-code programming and machining processes.
✔ Experience working with tight tolerances and high-precision components.
✔ Proficient in using measurement and inspection equipment.
✔ Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
