Role Details:

As an Upholsterer, you will be working the AM shift from 5:30am to 1:45pm, Monday to Friday. Your primary responsibilities will include upholstering various sofa frames to meet quality standards using foam, fibre, fabric, and leather. Working as part of a production line, you will:

- Assemble sofas using handheld power tools such as nail guns, ensuring production targets are met.
- Inspect components and materials, reporting any defects found.
- Upholster units or parts of units to specification using supplied tools.
- Ensure all fabric matching requirements are met.
- Drill and mark frames as required, adhering to specifications.
- Order sundries from production assistants as needed.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Previous experience as an Upholsterer or in furniture assembly.
- Proficiency in using handheld power tools, including "Air Pressure" tools.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of fabrics, leathers, and upholstery methods is advantageous.
