Job title:B1 Licensed Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: up to £73,109 DOE

Our client provides comprehensive aircraft maintenance services globally. With state-of-the-art facilities in various continents, they are known for their exceptional skills specializing in extension MRO operations and modifications.

The B1 Engineer will take on an in depth structures role that will be challenging and extremely rewarding, sitting within the Quality & Inspection department helping coordinate the teams tasks to perform and certify completed high standard work packages during extensive modification and production programmes.

Responsibilities for the B1 Engineer

Function checks during the modification stages and aircraft completion
Removal of major structural sections
Working to fine tolerances and high standards
Adhering to company and manufacturers procedures
Assisting in the implementation of modifications from drawings and procedures
Stage inspect and final inspection of mods.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience required for the B1 Engineer

8 years certifying experience as a B1
Hold a B1 B737 Licence (recent issue)
Experience implementing large modifications
Completed aircraft engineering apprenticeship, production or live aircraft
Excellent knowledge of interpreting manufactures drawings & SRMs
Able to perform mapping and feedback of any abnormalities to manufactures
Full accountability and ownership or his / her work
Excellent interpersonal skills
Eligible to work and like in the UK
