Accounts Payable Assistant | Sittingbourne | £27K

Our client, a growing organisation working within the industry are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will be fully accountable for the whole purchase ledger process from invoice receipt, through the approval process to authorisation and payment.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and update accounting records and vendor information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• To clearly communicate any areas of concern to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
