About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistant to join our clients team in Hailsham. This role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for individuals in a care setting. As the position involves working around vulnerable people, a strong sense of responsibility and compassion is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

General cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising high-touch surfaces

*

Cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to a high standard

*

Laundry and linen changes as required

*

Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

*

Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns

*

Ensuring infection control protocols are followed at all times

*

Maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude towards residents and staff

Requirements:

*

Previous cleaning or domestic experience preferred but not essential

*

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate is mandatory

*

Good understanding of hygiene, infection control, and health & safety standards

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

*

Must be eligible to work in the UK
