Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Supply SEN Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is a flexible role that may vary in hours each week based on the needs of students and schools we currently work with. As a Supply SEN TA, you will provide essential support to students with SEN, ensuring they have a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support to students with a range of SEN needs (such as ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties)
Assist teachers with planning, organising, and implementing lessons tailored to individual needs
Foster a supportive and positive environment, encouraging students' confidence, social skills, and engagement
Help monitor and assess student progress, reporting back to the teacher or SEN coordinator
Support students' emotional and social development, addressing any behavioral challenges as they arise
Assist with classroom activities and practical tasks, ensuring a safe and inclusive setting
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, offering feedback as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within an SEN or primary school setting
A passion for supporting children with SEN and helping them thrive in their education
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to student needs
Flexibility to work varying hours and adapt to different classroom settings
Relevant qualifications in SEN or Teaching Assistance (desirable but not essential)
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
