Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000

The role of the Transport Planner - Aggregates & Muck Away will involve:

* Transport Planner position dealing with a range of aggregate supply and waste disposal services

* Efficiently planning all delivery routes to customers utilising up to 50 wagons at any one time (average of 250 daily deliveries)

* Managing subcontractors / 3rd party hauliers

* Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure an efficient delivery service

* Building long term relationships with external customers and key stakeholders

* Liaise effectively with colleagues to ensure best possible planning is obtained

* Developing strong relationships with customers and drivers, providing updates and any delivery issues in a timely manner

The ideal applicant will be a Transport Planner - Aggregates & Muck Away with:

* Must have transport planner / route planning experience within the aggregates industry

* Ideally will have experience on transport management systems such as: Haultech

* Plenty of energy, passion and self-motivation

* Excellent organisational skills

* Excellent geographical knowledge of the North-West region

* Personable demeanour with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
