Looking for an Electrical Design Engineer role with a market leading manufacturer in West Yorkshire?

Electrical Design Engineer required for our market leading manufacturing client in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer with great CAD skills (Inventor & AutoCAD) and experience of designing special purpose machinery. You'll split your time between hands-on design work and managing customer expectations / project management.

Electrical Design Engineer - Role and Responsibilities – Design / AutoCAD / Inventor / Electrical Engineering / Special Purpose Machinery

• Electrical design of specialist purpose machinery and components
• Build & manage 3D models & 2D manufacturing drawings
• Produce electrical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs & business objectives
• Problem solving - experience of delivering solutions to technical problems
• Understanding of BS/ISO application

Electrical Design Engineer - Skills and Abilities – Design / AutoCAD / Inventor / Electrical Engineering / Special Purpose Machinery

• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
• A relevant qualification in an electrical engineering discipline
• Good understnading of electrical engineering principles
• Good CAD skills – 2D AutoCAD & 3D Autodesk Inventor
• Team player able to work on own initiative
