Job Title: Support Worker/ Personal Assistant

Location: York

Hours: 20 hours per week (however will increase over time to day and night shifts)

Shift Pattern: Part time/Full time

Pay Rate : Between £13.65 - £15 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our client in York area. This client has complex needs including Autism, Epilepsy & Seizure management and Dissociative identity disorder (DID).

The ideal candidate must be Female, driver (own car is not required) and have at least 6 months experience dealing with these mental health and care.

Responsibilities:

• Help with daily living activities ie helping with Universities work, going to appointments and gym etc
• Encourage the client in developing social skills and promoting independence
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment plans
• Document and monitor the client's progress and behavioral data
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment

Must have Skills:

• Prior experience working with individuals with mental health (essential)
• Prior experience working with ABI (prefered)
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the client, their family, and team member.
• Must be fluent in english.
• Must have UK driving licence and business insurance
• Must have experience in care for more than 6 months.
