Role Overview: As a Band 6 Haematology Senior Nurse or Sister/Charge Nurse, you will administer supportive therapies, provide compassionate care, and support patients and their families. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients, whilst supporting the department manager.

Responsibilities:

* Administering medication and other supportive treatments

* Monitoring patients' progress and managing any adverse effects

* Educating patients and families about treatment plans

* Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care

* Participating in professional development and training programs

Requirements:

* 3 years post qualification experience within cancer services

* Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register

* Passion for haematology and oncology nursing with a relevant qualification with the field

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills & teaching & assessing skills and experience
