Academics are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Basildon. They have a vacancy for an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in January 2025.

Within this role, you will be working with a lovely girl in reception class. She has diagnosed ODD and can be a little bit defiant but also extremely sweet and polite. She needs help staying on task and completing her learning objectives.

This is a great position with an outstanding school for a dedicated graduate or an experienced SEN TA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career TA, aspiring teacher, educational psychologist or speech and language therapist to thrive in the early stages of your career.

Key responsibilities within the role:

Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress
