Location: Greater Manchester
Duration: 6 months (ongoing, potential for extension)
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday (09:00 - 17:00)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £30 per hour
A Day in the Life of a Senior CAMHS Practitioner:

As a Senior CAMHS Practitioner, you play a critical role in delivering compassionate, high-quality mental health care to children and young people. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a lasting difference. Here's what your day might look like:

Community Visits: You'll conduct regular check-ins with patients in the community, ensuring their needs are met and that they have the support necessary to manage their mental health.

Medication Management: Administering medication is a key responsibility, ensuring that each patient receives their prescribed treatments on schedule to help them on their path to recovery.

Therapeutic Conversations: By talking with patients, you'll gain a deep understanding of their conditions, enabling you to offer the most effective interventions and closely monitor their progress.

Risk Assessments: You'll perform regular risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of your patients, mitigating any dangers they may pose to themselves or others, and creating a safe environment for healing.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Active registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse
Proven community experience, preferably within CAMHS
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
Confidence in working independently while being a strong team player when needed
A commitment to delivering the highest quality care to your patients, ensuring they receive the support they deserve
