Overview of the Role:

The Steel Workshop Welder at Tuffa Tanks will be responsible for the welding and fabrication of our quality storage tanks range and supplementary products

Steel Workshop Welder Key Responsibilities:

* Performing welding tasks using power and hand tools

* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

* Fabricate and weld metal components according to project requirements

* Document actions by completing production and quality logs

* Report maintenance/ repairs/ faulty equipment or parts to supervisor

* Product testing

* Using cranes to move products

Steel Workshop Welder Requirements:

* Proven experience as a MIG & TIG welder/sheet metal fabrication (MIG Priority)

* Proficient in various welding techniques

* Ability to work at height

* Ability to work with and communicate well with others

* Familiarity with manufacturing software

* Adherence to health and safety regulations

* Adherence to quality standards

* Maintain a clean working area

Steel Workshop Welder Key Competencies:
