Reed Financial Services are partnering with a national Financial Advisory firm are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our support services team and contribute to groupwide projects. This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with a passion for customer service and a knack for handling a variety of administrative tasks efficiently.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, advisers, and third parties, maintaining and improving client relationships.
  • Handle client enquiries on the telephone, responding to queries and correspondence in line with service level agreements (SLAs) and internal deadlines.
  • Follow work checklists, flowcharts, and procedure notes to mitigate financial and reputational risk.
  • File all incoming documentation according to internal processes and standards.
  • Engage with third-party providers to obtain accurate scheme valuations and property-specific data.
  • Update systems with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to company/departmental policies and procedures, promoting a culture that supports good customer outcomes.
  • Suggest and implement process changes as directed by the Manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative practices and changes relating to pensions administration.
  • Contribute to and deliver on projects within set timescales.
  • Take responsibility for personal development and training needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ administration experience.
  • Technical expertise in administrative tasks.
  • Exceptional customer service and team working skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks at short notice.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Conscientious with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organisational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
