As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be working with complex needs!

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be able to work at some of our top schools in London!

We are looking for a fantastic PMLD Support Assistant in Greenwich to work with children You'll have to adapt your learning and make sure that you're able to support children who have difficulties with their learning. This position is a full-time, long-term role giving you the best chance to showcase your ability and land your dream permanent position.

This is a reputable Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Secondary school, with really good resources to help the children learn. The staff are extremely friendly and approachable and are looking for another person to join their incredible team. These guys are experienced professionals inside their field, so the staff are more than willing to help you.

Ideal Candidate:

A strong understanding of children with PMLD.
Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
To be patient when working with the children

Supporting students with PMLD mostly on a 1:1 basis
Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social health, hygiene, first aid and welfare.

Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and SEN professionals.
Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements.Standard Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN ideally PMLD
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
